Support Page Content

The App Store and Play Store require a Support URL in the app listing. This page must exist and be reachable at the URL declared in the listing. Apple commonly rejects submissions where this URL 404s or where the page looks abandoned.

Currently planned URL: https://lift-well.org/support (W1 to host, per user direction)

This document is the content for that page. It can be hosted as a static HTML page (cleanest) or as a section of the operator's website.

Frequently asked questions

What is liftwell?

liftwell is a short self-paced wellbeing course for stress, worry, and the heavy days. It's available on iPhone and Android.

Do I need an account?

No. liftwell is anonymous by default. We don't ask for your name or email until the very end of the course, and only then to send you a certificate.

Is liftwell a medical service?

No. liftwell is an educational self-help tool. It is not a diagnostic tool, not a substitute for treatment, and not a crisis service. If you are in crisis, please contact a qualified mental-health professional or your local emergency services.

What's the wellbeing check-in I see at the start?

It's a short four-question screener called the PHQ-4. It's widely used in research and clinical settings as a brief snapshot of how someone's been feeling lately. You'll see your own score right after you submit it, with a brief interpretation — and a clear note that the screener is not a diagnosis.

Will I get an email after I finish the course?

You'll get two emails — both only if you choose to enter your name and email on the certificate screen:

1. Your certificate — a personalised PDF, sent right after you finish. 2. A 30-day follow-up wellbeing check-in — one email, sent thirty days later, asking if you'd like to take the same four-question check-in again. It's optional and helps us understand whether the course is making a difference. You won't get any other emails from us.

How do I switch language?

Settings → Language. You can switch between English and Spanish at any time. Note that switching language resets your progress in the new language; the app will warn you before doing this.

What does "Participate in research" do?

liftwell exists in part to measure whether the course actually helps the people who use it. The "Participate in research" toggle in Settings controls whether your anonymous in-app data contributes to that aggregate analysis. It defaults to on; you can turn it off at any time and the course remains fully available.

How do I delete my data?

The app shows my PHQ-4 result. Is that a diagnosis?

No. The PHQ-4 is a screening tool, not a clinical diagnosis. The app shows you a brief interpretation alongside your score with a clear disclaimer to that effect. If you're concerned about your wellbeing, please reach out to a qualified professional.

I'm in crisis. What should I do?

liftwell does not provide crisis services. Please contact a qualified mental-health professional or your local emergency services right away. If you don't know who to contact, your country may have a crisis hotline you can call or text — a quick web search for "{your country} crisis line" will find it.

Where can I read your Privacy Policy?

At https://lift-well.org/privacy. The short version: nothing about your progress or answers leaves your device unless you agree to take part in the research, you can turn that off or erase your data at any time, we don't sell anything, and we embed no advertising or analytics trackers.
